Facility to start with 2 GW capacity, expanding to 6 GW, advancing domestic solar manufacturing. DYCM Power, a joint venture between Das & Co., LLC and APC Holdings, LLC, has announced its plan to establish a new solar cell and module manufacturing plant in the United States. The initial investment for the facility is projected to be around $800 million, with production aimed at 2 GW annually. Future expansion plans will boost capacity to 6 GW, positioning DYCM Power as a major player in the U.S. solar industry.
Driving Growth Through Strategic Partnerships
Macquarie Capital and key suppliers join forces with DYCM Power.
The factory will be developed with support from Macquarie Capital, a renowned clean energy investor, and several other strategic partners. DYCM Power has already secured a supply agreement with a U.S.-based polysilicon provider and a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with a North American glass manufacturer, ensuring a reliable and transparent supply chain. These collaborations will help the company meet domestic content requirements while maintaining full supply chain traceability.
Facility to Deliver Advanced Solar Technologies by 2026
Innovative TOPCon cells and modules to be produced in the Southeast.
The upcoming facility, currently in the final stages of site selection in the southeastern U.S., will manufacture advanced TOPCon solar cells and assemble them into modules. Shipments are anticipated to begin in the first half of 2026. Mortenson, a seasoned solar engineering and construction firm, will oversee the plant’s construction, while ECM Greentech Engineering will provide turnkey solutions for the manufacture and assembly of solar components. This project is expected to create hundreds of jobs and significantly contribute to the U.S. solar manufacturing landscape.
